Mike Lorelli is an Operating Partner at Falconhead Capital, and Director of KPI Soft, Cannabiniers, iControl, and Cardrac. He served two ‘Tours of Duty’ as a PepsiCo president, running both domestic and international units, and later led four CEO engagements for private equity firms including Riverside Company, Rutledge Capital, Pouschine Cook, and Falconhead Capital. His experience includes three public companies where he also chaired their Compensation Committees, and eight private company Boards. A Darien resident, Mike is also a NACD Connecticut Chapter Director.
Matt manages Connecticut Innovations' venture capital funds, loans and programs to support entrepreneurs and startups. CI has over 175 portfolio companies and $200M in assets under management. Matt has more than 25 years of experience in venture capital, sales, marketing and product management. Matt represents CI on the boards of Tantalus Systems, Vouchr, Curacity, Elm Street Ventures and r4, as well as serving as Chairman of the board for CTNext and the CT Biosciences Fund.
Chris Barkley is Managing Partner of Platform Ventures, which partners early in backing enduring businesses, and rolling up their sleeves to work side by side with founding teams. They have deep expertise in enterprise and consumer technology, consumer products, financial services, intellectual property and media. Chris’s expertise is in seeing a nugget of potential and turning it into a successful company. He’s built and successfully exited a number of companies including FreshSpace Media, Avid Networks, and CitiSearch. He was an entrepreneur in residence at Warburg Pincus, and “is always looking for what’s next.”
Pete is President & CEO of Tantalus Systems, Inc. Pete is responsible for managing all aspects of corporate strategy, operations, engineering, business development, and finance. Prior to joining Tantalus Systems, Pete served as CEO of BPL Global, Ltd., a leading smart grid company delivering technology solutions to the electric utility industry with operations in the United States, Europe, Middle East, India, and China. While there, Pete was instrumental in executing the sale to a Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR). Pete also served as Chairman of WorldEnergy, Inc.
